User rights in VIA - What access should I give my staff / what feature has or requires which user access level?

There are different user rights that you can assign to any user you create in VIA. You can add as many users of VIA as you need; we don't charge on a per-user basis.

Who you give access to and what user rights you assign them is for you to decide. The different options allow you to lock out certain features to only allow your staff the access they need, and prevent certain business-sensitive operations (such as downloading lists of contact and property data).

We recommend you only give people access to VIA who need it and carefully pay attention to what features you make available to that user. This is particularly relevant if you are giving access to third parties or people outside of your business.

Below is the full table listing all our VIA software features, together with each of their respective user-rights required, relative to the software plugin the feature belongs to. You either need to have a VIA Software Edition subscription for the plugin which will appear in your left hand menu, or you will otherwise need to subscribe to the Software edition that has the feature you are looking for to have access to that feature.
