VIA allows you to link a Google Tag Manager (GTM) account to your website.

You can then use your GTM account to install third party applications to your website such as website chatbots, Facebook pixels, or review widgets, and specify what website pages they appear on.

Linking your GTM account to your website using VIA

  • Create a new GTM account at http://tagmanager.google.com , or use an existing account that you’ve already setup for your business

  • Login to your GTM account and copy your Google Tag Manager Container ID

  • Login to VIA

  • In the left hand menu, go to Settings > Configuration

  • Go to Third Party > Google > Tag Manager

  • Paste your Google Tag Manager Container ID into the Code field

  • You have now added linked your GTM account to your website. The information will automatically be saved once it has been entered so you can close this tab

Your VIA software/website will now be fully synced with your Google Tag Manager account. You can now login into your GTM account to add third party code snippets and triggers, then test them before putting them live on your site.

Your third party should be able to help you with their setting up their application using GTM
