Adding a new website page to your menu

Once you have created a new website page, you’ll probably want to add it to your website’s menu so visitors can access your new page.

  • Login to VIA

  • In the left hand menu go to Website > Pages

  • Search for the page you want to add to your menu using the search functionality at the top of the tab

  • Right click the relevant page from the list and select Create Menu Item

  • A new pop up will appear. Type the name of the menu tab as you want it to appear on the site

  • Click OK

  • Go to Website > Links

  • Search for mainmenu using the search functionality at the top

  • Double click the relevant listing from the list or right click and select edit

  • Scroll to the Sub Menu section at the bottom

  • If you want to add your page as one of the main tabs in the main menu of the site, click the Sub Menu field. Don't click into the links already added there (these are the existing menu tabs), click into the blank space section. This will allow you to search for the menu link you've just created. Scroll through the options or start to type the name of the menu link to filter and click the appropriate link. This will add it to your main menu. Drag and drop the link you've added to change the order of the options in the menu

  • Click Save and Close

OR

  • If you want to add your page as a drop down tab underneath one of the existing menu tabs. Scroll to the the Sub Menu field.

  • Click into the website tab you want to add your page as a drop down option to. A new tab will open. Again, scroll to the Sub Menu field. Don't click into the links already added there (these are the existing drop down options), click into the blank space section. This will allow you to search for the menu link you've just created. Scroll through the options or start to type the name of the menu link to filter and click the appropriate link. This will add it to y the drop down section Drag and drop the link you've added to change the order of the options in the menu

  • Click Save and Close
