Adding a new contact (such as an applicant, vendor, landlord, contractor, solicitor, developer etc)

You can add new contacts to VIA quickly and easily.

Any website lead you receive through the website will automatically create a contact in your VIA software for you, meaning you won’t have to manually enter the data for any contact who has come through your website. Whilst you can edit these contacts, the key information entered into the website lead form will be captured against the contact record.

To manually add a contact

  • Login to VIA

  • In the left hand menu, go to CRM > Contacts

  • Click the Add button in the top left hand side

  • Fill in the relevant fields to record the details of your contact. Please note, you can manually add all the information you need except for the following fields:

    • Website Leads - this will automatically show all the leads this contact has submitted through your website

    • Valuations - this will link to any valuation appointments you have added to your calendar whereby this contact was an attendee, allowing you to see all valuations you have carried out for this contact

    • Viewings - this will link to any property viewing appointments you have added to your calendar whereby this contact was an attendee, allowing you to see all the viewings you have carried out for this contact

    • Messages - this will display any email property alerts or SMS messages you have sent to this contact through VIA
